Within the framework of the LEBCONNECTION website (the “Site”), LEBCONNECTION collects and processes personal data which relate to the members of the Site ("MEMBERS").
LEBCONNECTION understands that the involvement of MEMBERS in an online network requires a strong trust from its MEMBERS. LEBCONNECTION views therefore the security and the confidentiality of the personal data of its MEMBERS as being paramount.
The present Private Data Policy informs you about the personal data that are collected by LEBCONNECTION, the use by LEBCONNECTION of the data and the rights of MEMBERS with respect to their personal data. The mandatory information conditions your registration as a MEMBER, and allows you to benefit from the services offered by the Site, in compliance with the General Terms of Use accessible at www.lebconnection.com.
1.2 During or after your registration as a MEMBER, you may provide additional information (« Optional data »), in particular in relation with offers you may decide to post on the Site. You provide the Optional data upon your sole discretion, in order to improve your benefits from the Site's services, and increase your chances to develop projects with other MEMBERS
1.3 In case the Optional data you provide reveal your ethnic origins and/or your religion, you give your express consent to the process of such “sensitive” data, and accept to bear the responsibility thereof
1.4 The personal email address and the password your have registered during your registration as a MEMBER are strictly confidential. They cannot be accessed or viewed by another MEMBER of the Site or by anyone on the Web. LEBCONNECTION shall not transfer your personal data to any third party
1.5 Leb-mail and notification service
1.5.1 As a MEMBER, you may receive private messages from other MEMBERS, via the Leb-mail tool.
1.5.2 Messages received by Leb-mail are part of the Site's services, and are not routed to the personal email address you have registered during your subscription. When you are not connected to the Site, you may subscribe to a notification service, that will inform you at your personal email address of:
- invitations, and confirmations of, your joining the network of other MEMBERS,
- request from other MEMBERS to join your personal network,
- answers to your offers,
- When you receive a message on Leb-mail (whether the mail has been sent by another MEMBER or by LEBCONNECTION)
You shall benefit from the notification service as soon as you opt for it on the registration form by ticking the “I accept to receive email notifications from LEBCONNECTION” box. You can terminate your subscription at any time by clicking on the dedicated button accessible from “My account” .
1.5.3 Information exchanged with other MEMBERS using Leb-mail tool are confidential and covered by secrecy of correspondence
1.6 Invitation of external Internet Users (not MEMBERS)
1.6.1 As a MEMBER, you may invite third parties to become MEMBERS of LEBCONNECTION using an automatic invitation tool. You provide the e-mail addresses of the persons you wish to invite under your sole responsibility.
1.6.2 LEBCONNECTION uses these e-mail addresses only in order to transmit the invitations by the MEMBER.
1.7 Cookies
1.7.1 As most of the websites, the Site LEBCONNECTION installs cookies on its MEMBERS’ computers, in order to identify the MEMBERS during their sessions and in order to save data concerning their navigation on the Site (visited pages, time of the visit, etc.). The objective of the cookies is to enable LEBCONNECTION to ensure that visits do not always concern the same offers, to improve the services provided by the Site and to better target the offers, commercial offers and banner advertisements
1.7.2 Banner advertisement can be placed by LEBCONNECTION or its partners acting as “advertising sales agencies”. These partners can put cookies in order to improve the display of their banners and to better adapt these banner to your interests

1.8 Commercial offers
- Subject to your prior consent, LEBCONNECTION can give you the opportunity to benefit from commercial and promotional offers made by LEBCONNECTION or its partners.
- These offers will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
2.1 LEBCONNECTION configures by default your parameters in “My account”, in such a way that any other MEMBER can view the list of the contacts in your network. You may change these parameters and, for instance, decide that other MEMBERS can no longer view the above-mentioned list or that only your direct contacts can view the list.
2.2 LEBCONNECTION cares about the protection of your personal data against any kind of damage, accidental, loss, embezzlement, intrusion, disclosure, alteration, or unauthorized destruction
2.3 LEBCONNECTION takes all reasonable steps in order to protect your personal data in its database, and we limit the access to these data to the personnel who need to know (CRM and technical team).
2.4 However, LEBCONNECTION cannot guarantee that the data concerning its MEMBERS’ accounts will be 100% secure, given the ever possible unauthorized consultations or uses of the data, the hardware or software errors and defaults and any other factor which could compromise the security of MEMBERS’ data
3.1 You have a general right of access, of rectification and of suppression of all your personal data which are collected when you use the Site or its services.
3.2 You have a direct online access to the most important part of your personal data on your profile page. At any time and at your sole discretion, you may modify the information in relation with your personal account and your MEMBER’s profile.
3.3 A MEMBER can request the destruction or the modification of his/her personal data collected by LEBCONNECTION, using the “contact us” function and specifying his/her name and his/her personal registered e-mail address.
4.1 LEBCONNECTION reserves the right to modify at any time the present Private Data Policy.
4.2 Changes will be notified to the MEMBERS using their personal registered e-mail address and will be displayed on the Site.
5.1 LEBCONNECTION is the only recipient of the collected personal data. LEBCONNECTION will not transmit your data to any other MEMBER, at any time.
5.2 LEBCONNECTION may transfer general socio-demographic non personal information and electronic identification data (i.e. information calculated or created on or from your computer when you connect to the Site and which enable LEBCONNECTION to monitor, without identifying you, your behavior as an Internet user) to its partners. The collected data are processed for studies, statistics or commercial purposes (banners, commercial offers), in order to better target the advertisings (considering the age, the gender, etc.). We never transmit to our partners information that could permit our partners to identify the MEMBERS.
